L-235 Anthrax Pleco

The Anthrax Pleco is named for the small bright white “anthrax spore” spots all over the dark black body. Low in profile the pleco seems to glide or fly about the floor of an aquarium, getting its other common name the “flat flyer pleco”. These plecos will grow to eight inches and tolerate pH up to 7.6. Scavengers they still need algae wafers from time to time. Our anthrax plecos are caught in Venezuela.
