Irwini Catfish

The giant talking catfish known as the irwini catfish grows to two feet and is caught in the Brazilian Amazon. Like the Red Tail Catfish, irwini keep their vibrant color pattern through their adulthood and look like a giant raphael catfish. Irwini catfish are scavengers but will eat fish that fit into their mouths. These exotic catfish do not take bite out of other fish and are suitable for a large species aquarium.
