Allen’s Damselfish

Allen’s Damselfish is also called the Neon Damselfish, but we like to give some credit to the discoverer of the fish Dr. Gerald Allen. Most hobbyists though call the fish the Neon Damsel. The fish is neon blue with a yellow belly and only grows to two inches. The Neon Damsel forages throughout the day and will nip at other damsels that compete for food. Neon damsels eat prepared and frozen foods.
