African Red Starfish

African Starfish, Protoreaster linckii, also goes by the names of the Red Spine Star, Red Knob Sea Star, and Red General Starfish. Its most unique characteristic is the spines that protrude directly up from its body. Featuring a colorful mix of red, orange, and brown, this is a gorgeous starfish species.

They should never be exposed to open air, will eat a varied omnivorous diet, and will be active in reef tanks with plenty of live rock.
