The Zebra Eel, or Zebra Moray Eel, is a peaceful decorative eel that will not harm any fish that cannot fit in their mouth. In addition zebra eels will often hunt and graze during the day, but they are shy and need somewhere to hide their full body or they may be stressed. These exotic eels grow to five feet so are really only appropriate for an aquarium that is at least 100 gallons.

This zoanthid are easy to keep and are a great choice for the beginner. Zoanthids and Palythoa will grow and reproduce by budding. The Polyp has the ability to sting other polyps or corals. While the sting is not strong, be sure to provide sufficient space between the Colony Micro Polyp and other corals because of its semi-aggressive temperament and potential to crowd out neighbors. Some Zoanthids and Palythoa contain a powerful neurotoxin called palytoxin in its flesh that can be extremely harmful if it comes in contact with your blood stream. By harmful we mean deadly. Take special care handling these polyps for this reason especially if you have open cuts on your hands so be careful. Zoanthids usually comes in many different colors so frag able. These are fragged with some mushroom or ricordea.
